ROLE of IERIF STEERING COMMITTEE

To provide oversight and advice on the formulation of strategic and operational plans on the budget announcement.

To provide oversight and input on the implementation of the proposed projects

To approve and endorse any recommendation of all INCEIF research proposals and external research proposals of value ≥RM500,000.

To ensure the outcomes enhance financial, economic and societal interest.

To review progress and financial updates to INCEIF/ Board and MLC.


IERIF Research Working Committee

The IERIF Research Working Committee (“IRWC”) is a committee which is established to oversee Islamic Economics Research and Innovation Fund (IERIF) research projects, strategies, and activities (all of which are collectively known as “Works”).

ROLE OF IERIF RESEARCH WORKING COMMITTEE (IRWC)

To advise the IERIF Steering Committee on research priorities, including research synergies, topics, themes, and research engagement relationships with stakeholders.

To conduct quality research reviews on project proposals submitted to IRWC by INCEIF and non-INCEIF applicants via the submission channel.

To advise the IERIF Steering Committee on matters of research integrity and misconduct by research candidates.

To uphold research excellence and effective research governance and ethics throughout the appointment period.

To encourage and promote high-quality research.

To ensure compliance of the research proposals with the mandate of the IERIF.
